Traditional MIDDLE SCHOOL for Grades 6-8 coming in August 2026!

We are excited to announce that Putnam Classical Academy is under contract to purchase the historic Palatka Daily News building and add a traditional middle school campus for 6th-8th graders.

We offer small class sizes, structured classroom environments, and teacher-led instruction—not technology-driven learning. If you have an older student who struggles with reading, we offer a structured literacy program using the University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI) Foundations curriculum to help identify and fill reading gaps and build strong, proficient readers.
